These terms govern use of the Client Ethos platform. They're written to be read, not to trap anyone — questions welcome at john@newdogai.com.
Client Ethos is a client-operations platform we install, configure, and maintain for your organization as a separate instance. Your subscription covers the software, hosting, upkeep, updates, support, and the included monthly business coaching hours.
Plans are billed monthly per organization at the rate agreed at signup, plus a one-time setup fee where applicable. New subscriptions include a 14-day free trial on the monthly fee; cancel within it and the monthly fee is never charged. After the trial, cancel any time and billing stops at the end of the current period.
Business data you put into your instance is yours. Where practical, the underlying accounts (database, payments, domain) are established so you retain them if you leave, and we will reasonably assist with handover and export on cancellation.
Use the platform lawfully: no spam campaigns in breach of email law, no unlawful content, no attempts to breach other tenants or the service itself. Fair-use applies to unlimited seats and clients — we'll confirm specifics for your team size before you sign, and we'll talk to you before ever enforcing a limit.
We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is," without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. AI-generated content (health scores, drafts, summaries) is assistive and should be reviewed before you rely on it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim; neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages.
We may update these terms with notice; continued use after notice is acceptance. Either party may terminate as described above. Provisions that by their nature survive (data ownership, liability limits) survive termination.
