Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Client Ethos marketing site (clientethos.com) and the Client Ethos platform we operate for subscribers. The short version: we collect what we need to run the product, we don't sell it, and your business data belongs to you.

What we collect

On this website: information you submit through our contact and onboarding forms (name, company, email, phone, and your answers), plus standard server logs. On the platform: the account information and business data you and your team put into your portal — clients, leads, documents, invoices, messages.

How we use it

To provide and improve the service, to respond when you contact us, to bill subscriptions, and to send service emails (invoices, meeting invites, support replies). We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your business data to advertise to anyone.

Your data is yours

Each subscriber's portal runs as a separate installation with its own database and accounts, registered to the subscriber wherever practical. If you cancel, you keep your database, your Stripe account, and your domain. We'll assist with export.

Service providers

We rely on a small set of processors to operate: Supabase (database and authentication), Netlify (hosting), Stripe (payments — we never see full card numbers), Postmark (email delivery), and Anthropic (AI features). Each receives only what its function requires.

Retention and security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our providers, access is role-based and audit-logged inside the platform, and we retain information only as long as needed to provide the service or as the law requires.

Your choices

Email us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of non-essential email. We'll respond promptly.
